Country

This is a Limited Edition Color Reduction Linocut. #2/10 in the series. This is matted and framed in a 16×20 light wood frame. I titled it “Country” because when I see Geese they always remind me of being in the country. A color reduction print takes many weeks to make. You print one color at a time and it must dry in between printings. After each color is printed it is carved away from the plate. It is sometimes called a suicide print because when you are finished there is nothing left on the plate as it has all been carved away. It is a challenging yet fun process. Each one is an original linocut.
