O’Keefe Inspired Etching

This is a drypoint print inspired by travels to Arizona. I did a series of Southwestern themed art. This shows an animals skull and horns. A drypoint is made by carving the image directly onto a metal plate, inking it and then running it through a press on to quality printmaking paper. This is marked “A/P” meaning artist proof. The image size is 3×4 inches and the paper size is 5.5 x 7.5 inches. The ink is black and it is on off white paper. It is not framed but comes wrapped in a protective plastic sleeve. This piece can easily be placed in an 8×10 mat for easy framing.
