Orchid

Longwood Gardens has a room devoted just to Orchids. I chose this pretty one to paint. I am amazed at all the different shapes and colors they come in. I hope to paint more of them in the future. Longwood Gardens is located outside of Phila, Pa. and is one of my favorite places to go. This painting is framed. The original painting has been donated to Volley For Life for the purpose of raising funds for cancer research.
