Marie’s Wedding Day 1936

This is a pastel painting that I did of my husbands Grandmom on her wedding day. I was inspired by an old black and white photo. The photo had the whole wedding party but I isolated her and just painted her. I just love her dress and style of the time. The Original of this painting is on display at the Main Street Manor Bed and Breakfast, Flemington, NJ.
