View From Long Island City

This is an acrylic painting inspired by a trip to Manhattan. Our hotel was in Long Island City and this was our view at sunset. This is the 59th street bridge in silhouette. Also known as the Queensborough Bridge or the Ed Koch Memorial Bridge.
The song “Feeling Groovy” (one of my favorites) is also called the 59th street bridge song.
The sides of this canvas are painted the soft yellow color. This does not need a frame and comes ready to hang.
