I have been teaching the art of Etegami. This is a Japanese custom of making and mailing art postcards. Etegami means “picture letter” so each card must have a picture and some meaningful words to go along with it. This is a fun easy activity for anyone regardless of art experience. The method uses Ink and Watercolor to create the designs. Along with this idea I teach the art of chigiri -i which uses special pretty papers to make your design. It is like painting with paper.
