Opening Up

This is an oil painting that I did of flowers just as they are opening up. I started with a boring picture of some black-eyed susans from my garden but instead of using lots of green in the background I decided to be creative with the different colors. I am so happy with the final piece. This is framed in a lovely brushed gold modern style frame.
